Below you will find a list of our most frequently asked questions. If you can't find the answer to your query here, then please contact us and we will be happy to assist.

 

What type of paper are your photo cards printed on? TOP

Our personalised photo cards are real photos, professionally printed onto either matte or glossy photo paper in a wide range of sizes. As they are just like a photo, your guests are unlikely to throw them away, but rather store them in family albums long after the event. They include FREE quality white envelopes and a magnet strip on the back.

We have a selection of ticket style invitations, some of which are printed onto 250gsm matte photo cardstock and others which are photo printed. Ticket styles also have the magnet strip but don't include envelopes.

Will the colours on my photo card be exactly what is seen on my computer screen? TOP

Due to varying colour calibrations of monitors and printers, the colours of the cards may differ from what you see on your monitor. We will make every effort to match colours as closely as possible.

How do I place an order? TOP

Browse our website and select your favourite design. Fill out the personalisation details and complete checkout. You will receive an Order Confirmation via email. If photos are required for your design, then please head to our Photo Upload page to upload these. If you have any problems sending your photos via this method, please send them as an email attachment to orders@deezeedesigns.com.au, ensuring that they are full resolution (no camera phone pics please), and include either your Order Number or full name.

You will receive a low resolution proof of your card within 48hrs (excluding weekends and public holidays). Once you have approved your card, we will have it printed and dispatched within 3 working days. If you do need your order faster, please contact us and we will try to accommodate.

Is there a minimum order? TOP

Yes, our minimum order quantity is 10.

What is the postage charge? TOP

Postage is automatically calculated in the shopping cart for domestic AND international deliveries, please visit our shipping page to see our rates.

Pick-up is also available if you live locally.

What payment methods do you accept? TOP

You will be given a list of payment options during checkout, so just select the method you wish to use. Payment can be made immediately using your credit card through Paypal (you don't need to be a member to pay with this method), or you can choose Money Order/Cheque and lastly, Bank Deposit. Our bank account details will be disclosed at the completion of checkout, but we can email these to you if required. Remember that if you choose to pay via Money Order or Cheque, your order will be delayed while payment clears into our account.

International orders will have to be paid through Paypal.

Do you ship internationally? TOP

Yes, please visit our shipping page for our rates. All prices are in Australian Dollars.

International buyers may prefer our 'Print Your Own' option so please contact us if this is the case. The 'Print Your Own' option is not available with our Wedding Packages.

What format should I email my photos to you? TOP

We would ask that your digital photos are emailed to us in jpeg format at 300dpi or at least 1800x1200 pixels to ensure good print quality. We can check the quality of your photos prior to you placing your order - just email them to enquiries@deezeedesigns.com.au. Mobile phone pictures are unsuitable. Any scanned photos should be at least 300dpi. Please don't alter or crop your photos in any way as we will do this for you. Minor adjustments such as red eye and blemish removal are included in the cost.

Please send no more than three photos at a time as some internet providers have limits on the size of attachments.

If you would prefer to send your photos on a disc, or send the original photos for us to scan, then please forward them to PO Box 5329, Falcon, 6210. We will return your disc/photos along with your photocards. There is no charge for scanning.

How long will it take to receive my order? TOP

It usually takes around 7-10 days to receive your completed order, but often it is much quicker. If you do need your order urgently, please contact us and we will advise if this can be done.

Our Personalised DVD's, CD's and Babyography have a delivery time of around 2-3 weeks, so please keep this in mind when ordering.

Do you offer a discount for large orders? TOP

Yes, we offer the following discount:

  • 10% off if ordering 50 - 79 photo cards
  • 15% off if ordering 80 - 99 photo cards
  • 20% off if ordering 100 - 129 photo cards
  • 25% off if ordering 130 or more photo cards

This discount will be automatically applied during checkout.

Do you offer a 'Print Your Own' Option? TOP

Please contact us with the Design Number you are interested in purchasing and we will send you an invoice for the cost involved. This cost varies with each invitation depending on the design work involved - but is generally between $20.00 and $30.00. This option won't include envelopes or magnets.

Once a design has been approved, we will send the high resolution jpeg to you as an email attachment which you simply save onto a cd or flashdrive and take to your local photo lab to be printed. Alternatively they can be printed on your home printer.

This option is not available for our Wedding Packages.

I really love one of your Pregnancy Announcements - can I have this design as a Birthday Invitation? TOP

Absolutely! All of our designs can be used for any occasion you choose. We can also change colours, fonts and wording at no extra charge.

Can you send me a printed proof as well as an email proof? TOP

We would be happy to send out a 'watermarked' hard copy of your order if time permits.

Can I send you professional photos? TOP

No problem - so long as you have a signed Release Form from the Photographer. We cannot print professional photos without the Release Form as this is illegal and unethical. Deezee Designs will not be held responsible for any legal issues regarding the use of professional images.

Can I re-order more cards later? TOP

We store your photo card on file for up to 3 months for re-ordering purposes. Just send us an email to orders@deezeedesigns.com.au if you need to add to your order and we will forward an invoice.

Do you use any of my personal information for other purposes? TOP

Your personal details are kept confidential. Under NO circumstances will they be given to any third parties. We take your privacy seriously and guarantee your personal information will not be used in any way except to fullfil your order and for communication between yourself and Deezee Designs. We will act as required under the Privacy Act with the information provided. We will never give, sell or share your name, address, email address or any other personal information you provide to us, to any company, organisation or individual for any reason whatsoever.

We will only record your email address if you send us a message. It will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it and we will not add it to our address book or mailing list unless you give us permission to do so.

Can you print my guest's names on my photo card? TOP

Yes - but this will incur an extra charge of .30c per invitation.

Can I cancel my order? TOP

Your order can be cancelled at any time prior to being printed. Once the order has been sent to print then unfortunately it cannot be cancelled. Please check your final proof carefully, as we generally send them to print immediately after final approval.

What if there are errors when I receive my order? TOP

If the error is by ourselves, we will re-print and re-send at no extra charge. However, if the error is by the customer, then it is their responsibility to pay to have them re-printed, although we will do this at a discount.

What if my order is damaged during transit? TOP

We go to extraordinary lengths to make sure your order is packaged securely and take no responsibility if the order has damage once received. However, please contact us if this should occur and we can come to some sort of arrangement.

What if I am not happy with the final product? TOP

We are confident that you will love your photo card, but on the rare occasion that there are any problems, we offer a full replacement or money back guarantee.

Do you offer Gift Vouchers? TOP

Yes, our Gift Vouchers make a great gift to new parents, newlyweds or as a Baby Shower gift. Please refer to our 'Gift Voucher' page for further details.

What kind of photo is required for your Photo Personalised DVD's? TOP

The following are recommended guidelines for the photo of the person to be the star of any of the photo personalised dvd's:

  • a well-focused full-face shot,
  • no part of the head or face is cut off by the edge of the photo,
  • the face is not obstructed by any object, 
  • no hats or bows,
  • colour photos only please - no black & white or sepia photographs, and
  • photos must be in jpeg format.

Can more than one person be featured in your Photo Personalised DVD's? TOP

Our Photo Personalised DVD's have been developed and designed to be personalised for only one star, except for 'Our Love Story' which requires a 'couple'!

What will the star be wearing in the Photo Personalised DVD? TOP

Some of our titles are created for both boys and girls. In those titles the star will be wearing a gender-neutral costume. In the titles created specifically for either boys or girls, the costume will be gender appropriate.

What ages are your Photo Personalised DVD's most appropriate? TOP

They are recommended for ages 2 and up. Children, adults and even pets would love to star in their own movie! We will accept orders for ages 2 to 400!

Can greetings be placed in the beginning of your Photo Personalised DVD's? TOP

We cannot put greetings at the beginning of the DVD's.

How will the child's name and face be used to personalise the Photo Personalised DVD's? TOP

The star's name and face appears on the screen in the movie introduction and of course the star's face will appear over and over throughout the dvd as the main character in all our cartoon adventures. In some cases, the star's name will be spoken - but this is only in selected dvd's.

What do you do with my original image supplied for the Photo Personalised DVD's? TOP

Any photo that was supplied by you for your order will be returned to you with your completed dvd. Any uploaded digital images sent to us for online purchases will be deleted from our system within 60 days of when your goods were ordered.

Do your photo cards come with envelopes? TOP

Yes - all of our photo cards are supplied with FREE quality white envelopes (except for ticket style) and they all include a magnet strip on the back so your guests can pop them on the fridge!

I live internationally. Can I still order your Babyography or Petite Post? TOP

Yes - absolutely! Our Babyography and Petite Post can be adapted to suit your country. A framed Babyography/Petite Post would cost around aud$30.00 to send overseas. You will need to contact us prior to ordering so we can give you a quote and send an invoice.

Can I change the colours or fonts on my photo card? TOP

Yes - we can make any colour, font or wording changes you require.

I can't find a design I like. Can you custom design something for me? TOP

Absolutely! Just send an email to orders@deezeedesigns.com.au and we will try to bring your vision to life. We don't charge extra for custom designs, however we reserve the right to use that design on our website for future customer orders.

Can I get a sample of one of your photocards? TOP

If you'd like to see the quality of our photocards, please send an email to enquiries@deezeedesigns.com.au with your postal address and ask us to send a free sample. Please let us know what size you are interested in and we will try to accommodate by sending a 'sample' photocard in that size.

Wedding Package samples can be sent at a cost of $5.00 per design - but this cost can then be redeemed against any future order.
